A few simple things on the night before and the morning of your pet’s procedure keep them safe under anaesthetic.

The night before

• No food after 10pm.
• Water overnight is fine. Take it away one hour before drop-off.

The morning of

• Your pet needs to arrive on an empty stomach. No food, no treats and no table scraps.
• Give your pet anything they normally take in the morning, unless we have told you otherwise.
• Make sure we have a number that will reach you during the day.

Drop-off and pick-up

Drop-off is usually between 9:15am and 9:30am. Your pet stays with us for the day and goes home with you in the evening. We will confirm your pet’s exact drop-off and pick-up times at their consultation.

Questions before the day

Call us on (604) 770-4346. If anything changes overnight, or your pet manages to get to food they should not have, please tell us before you set off rather than after you arrive.
